Hi, I am a senior at Tulane University in New Orleans, La and I want to return to school this semester. However, there is a block on my registration in accounts receivable. They said that when I dropped my classes the last semester I attended, I dropped them too late to receive a full refund of my financial aid. Therefore, I owe the university $1,275.00. I am presently undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer and I cannot work. I do not have an income for I just applied for disability insurance and that takes a long time to receive if accepted. I am eligible for financial aid. However the college will not allow me to apply it towards my balance for it has to be paid in full by me before I can enroll and receive any financial assistance. Furthermore, I lost all that I owned in hurricane Katrina and had no flood insurance. I want to try and get my life back online by doing something positive for my family for I am a single parent also. Can you help me pay this pending tuition of $1,275.00 so that I can return to school by 1/17/07 and finish to get my degree?
